Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., Tom Watson, and Sandy Tatum, Spanish Bay opened in 1987. The fourth course 18-hole course in the Pebble Beach Company portfolio, Spanish Bay offers a traditional Scottish Links layout right on the shores of the Pacific Ocean. In keeping with the Scottish theme, a bagpiper closes down the course every night just off the 18th green.
