Founded in 1894, the course you play today is a result of redesigns made by J.H. Taylor in 1914, Fred Hawtree in 1923 and then later Ken Cotton. A traditional and historic out-and-back links course. Ashburnham is unique in that the starting hole is a downhill par 3 with out of bounds threatening just right of the green.
