| Killeen House |
A
charming little hotel with owners and staff well-used
to looking after the requirements of visiting golfers.
Less than 10 minutes from Killarney and set in 1.5
acres of garden this Edwardian house was originally
built in 1838 for Archdeacon Nathaniel Forester.
Current proprietors Geraldine and Michael Rosney
acquired the house in 1992 and in their own words
have since that time invested plenty of blood, sweat,
tears and a gullible bank manager's money into upgrading
and developing the hotel! Twenty three bedrooms,
a fine restaurant and even its own 'pub' ensure this
small hotel punches above its weight.
