Aroeira Golf Course in Lisbon, North Portugal

Just over 10 miles south of Lisbon, Portugal the original golf course at Aroeira - which dates back to the 1970s - was designed by Frank Pennink with later revisions by Robert Trent Jones. Dubbed the "Wentworth of Lisbon" due to its similarities with the famous London club and has hosted the Portuguese Open. British architect Donald Steel added a second course.
