The Aberdovey golf Course
in North Wales was a personal favorite of
famous British golf writer Bernard Darwin.
His uncles created the golf club in 1892,
although James Braid made important revisions
to the original course layout. The golf course
still retains a very traditional feel, with
cattle sometimes grazing on the first fairway,
a railway line close by, miles of wonderful
beach and an enchanting small town with tidal
estuary views.
